Alumni dedicated to reuniting long-lost friends from the International School Bangkok

Here is an opportunity in Thailand at the R 35 School (built in part by ISB from donations after the 2004 Tsunami) for college grads wondering what to do next in life and needing some time to think through options. A place to live is provided along with a stipend that is more than adequate to support themselves on but most likely not enough left over for an IRA Contribution. Airfare is reimbursed ONCE the term is completed.

The R 35 School in Bang Sak Beach, Thailand is now seeking new volunteers (English native speaker + University/College degree) for the upcoming term that will start in mid May. Anyone interested in teaching English in southern Thailand (right by the beach) at a school for children affected by the 2006 Tsunami?

• Ready to focus on children rather than personal luxuries
• Can handle living in hot and rainy climate
• Can handle being surrounded by poverty
• Can handle a demanding living situation
• Can live in a remote area
• Can process several problems and challenges at once
• Can maintain a positive attitude in the face of adversity
We ask that all volunteers commit to a minimum of five months as this is the length of one semester. Some volunteers however, will stay on for one year or longer.
