Rhonda Clare Goodbary Simpson lost her battle with a brain tumor on August 27, 2008 in San Francisco at the age of 62. Rhonda was born in Iola, KS, and had lived in Turkey, Thailand, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Lebanon, Honduras, Taiwan, Mexico and multiple states in the USA with the longest period in San Carlos, CA, for the last 25 years. Rhonda worked for a number of years as a teacher, an art instructor in local schools, a gymnastics coach and was a multimedia artist. She is survived by her husband Larry Simpson; daughters Tanya Pearson and Heather Simpson; granddaughters Casandra and Josephine Heyman; brother Robert Allan Goodbary; sisters Joan Gass, Marilyn Goodbary, Amelia Lockamy-Keller and Alice Jarrell; and was preceded in death by her parents Allan and Dorris Goodbary.
